Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Chief Traction distribution SCADA & MIMIC Panel Integration Expert is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• System Design & Review: Lead the planning, design, and review of traction power distribution systems, including substations, overhead equipment (OHE/OCS), and third rail systems.
• SCADA Integration: Oversee design, installation, integration, and commissioning of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for real-time monitoring and control of traction power supply.
• MIMIC Panel Integration: Manage the integration, testing, and commissioning of MIMIC panels for visualization and control at metro control centers and substations.
• Specifications & Standards: Ensure that all designs and implementations meet relevant national/international standards, codes, and contractual specifications.
• Coordination: Interface with civil, electrical, signaling, and rolling stock teams to ensure seamless integration of traction and SCADA systems with overall metro operations.
• Contract & Vendor Management: Oversee procurement, vendor selection, technical evaluation, and supervision of suppliers/contractors for SCADA and MIMIC systems.
• Testing & Commissioning: Supervise Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and system commissioning activities for traction, SCADA, and MIMIC panels.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues in traction power distribution, SCADA communication, and mimic displays during project execution and operations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, and integration protocols, and present updates to project stakeholders.
• Training: Conduct or coordinate training programs for O&M staff on SCADA and MIMIC panel operation and troubleshooting.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforce quality assurance procedures and safety standards during all stages of project implementation.
• Technology Updates: Stay updated on new technologies and standards in traction power, SCADA, and control room visualization to recommend improvements.
