Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking an experienced Data Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain Boomi-based integrations across Workday, Salesforce and SQL Server ecosystems. You will collaborate with global teams and drive best practices while ensuring scalable, maintainable solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in data integration, Boomi-centric expertise, and familiarity with Boomi Data Hub, XML/JSON/CSV formats, and scripting in JavaScript or Groovy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Boomi certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of data integration experience.
• Boomi experience preferred.
• Experience with JavaScript or Groovy scripting.
• Experience integrating with Workday, Salesforce and SQL Server.
• Experience integrating with SOAP, REST, webhooks.
• Knowledge of Java, PowerShell, SSIS Packages and C# / VB.Net Console Apps preferred.
• Knowledge of Data formats (XML, JSON, CSV).
• Experience with Boomi integrations and other Boomi services.
• Strong understanding and preferably experience in Boomi Data Hub.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration solutions that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, scalable and easy to understand.
• Assist with formulating effective best practices and standards for all integrations.
• Participate and contribute to the overall firm Integration strategy.
• Work within project planning constraints, communicating risks and issues, and support change control.
• Assist project managers and business analysts with technical aspects of integrations, including timelines, requirements and deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and present solutions for review by Architect community.
• Lead meetings with business teams to understand requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-country teams to align integration efforts.
• Support deployment of developed integration solutions and resolve defects.
• Monitor and maintain Boomi environment and related services.

Responsibilities

• Design & Develop integration solutions that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, scalable and easy to understand.
• Assist with formulating effective best practices and standards for all integrations.
• Participate & contribute to the overall firm Integration strategy.
• Work within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues accordingly, and provide inputs to the change control process.
• Assist project managers and business analysts with technical aspects of integrations when needed, including project timelines, requirements, and deliverables per project phase.
• Collaborate with the stakeholders, present the solution to the Architect community for review.
• Lead the meetings with the business team as may be needed to understand the business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross country teams.
• Support deployment of developed integration solutions.
• Resolve integration issues and implement change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
• Resolve defects and other performance problems discovered during testing.
• Monitor and maintain the Boomi environment.
• Assist with building out Baker Tilly’s integration framework.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
