Job summary

Amtech, a Vista Equity Partners portfolio company, is seeking an Implementation Consultant to lead customer implementations of ERP solutions and related services.

You will gather requirements, configure solutions, train end users, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Up to 50% travel may be required.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional services experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Packaging, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years delivering professional services or ERP solutions, preferably in packaging/printing.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects.
• Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.
• Independent, self-motivated and proactive in risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute customer implementation activities from requirements to training.
• Analyze business requirements and contribute to solution design within Amtech products.
• Deliver ERP knowledge transfer to customers using Amtech’s methodology.
• Develop standardized training materials and delivery assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Implementation Consultant is expected to:

• Support and execute customer implementation activities, including requirements gathering, solution configuration, documentation, testing, and end‑user training, in alignment with defined project scope and delivery standards.
• Partner with customers to analyze and interpret business requirements, contributing to solution design within Amtech’s core products while applying relevant industry best practices.
• Deliver ERP and industry‑specific knowledge transfer to customers using Amtech’s consulting methodology to support successful adoption and long‑term value realization.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized training materials, implementation documentation, and supporting delivery assets.
• Assist with customer‑facing presentations and proposals, supporting implementation delivery, complex engagements, and presales activities as needed.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and client issues, elevate appropriately, and collaborate with internal teams to support timely resolution and achievement of project milestones.
• Support Amtech organizational initiatives, including sales cycle support, practice aid development, and continuous improvement of delivery processes and operating procedures.
• Provide peer‑level mentoring and knowledge sharing within the Implementation Services team to reinforce delivery standards and improve overall implementation quality.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to support customer implementations, training, and onsite project needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Packaging, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience delivering professional services and/or supporting ERP software solutions; experience within the printing or packaging industry strongly preferred.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across concurrent projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear, professional customer‑facing presentations.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Highly self‑motivated and able to work independently while managing priorities across multiple customer engagements.
• Comfortable presenting and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization, from end users to executive leadership.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Direct experience in the corrugated or folding carton industry
• Advanced familiarity with the capabilities and functionality of Amtech’s solutions.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles as they relate to ERP systems (e.g., invoicing, costing, financial reporting).
