Job summary

Aveo Tours & Travels is seeking a Senior Holiday Consultant in Kerala, India. This full-time, on-site role focuses on designing and managing holiday packages for individuals and groups, consulting with clients to fit budgets, and coordinating bookings for flights, hotels, transport, and activities.

You will maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor pricing/availability, and resolve travel issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and client relationship skills with the ability to understand traveler needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Excellent communication in English (local languages helpful), with clear verbal and written interaction with clients and partners.
• Solid knowledge of popular destinations, travel products, and current tourism trends in India and international leisure travel.
• Proficiency with reservation systems, online booking platforms, and basic office productivity tools.
• Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills with attention to itinerary documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team, mentor junior staff, and handle multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in travel consulting or holiday planning; senior-level experience is an advantage.
• Education in tourism, hospitality, business, or related field is preferred or equivalent experience.

Role Description

The Senior Holiday Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kerala, India, responsible for designing and managing holiday packages for individual and group travelers. Daily tasks include consulting with clients to understand their preferences and budgets, creating customized itineraries, coordinating bookings for flights, hotels, transport, and activities, and providing clear pre-travel information. The role involves maintaining relationships with local and international suppliers, monitoring pricing and availability, and resolving any travel-related issues promptly. The Senior Holiday Consultant will also contribute to improving service offerings, mentoring junior team members, and supporting marketing efforts with destination insights and package ideas.
