Senior Histopathology Technician - Incharge

The Senior Histopathology Technician - Incharge will supervise histopathology laboratory operations, tissue processing, embedding, section cutting, staining, documentation, quality control, and team coordination at Kailash Healthcare, Greater Noida. This requires DMLT or B.Sc MLT qualification with 10–15 years of experience.

• Supervise daily histopathology laboratory activities and staff workflow.
• Manage tissue receiving, grossing support, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and slide preparation.
• Ensure proper sample identification, labeling, tracking, and documentation.
• Maintain histopathology registers, worksheets, equipment logs, and quality records.
• Monitor quality of tissue sections, staining, slide preparation, and report readiness.
• Coordinate with pathologists, lab staff, OT, wards, and sample collection teams.
• Handle special stains, blocks, slides, and archival material as per lab SOP.
• Train and guide junior technicians on histopathology processes and safety.
• Maintain equipment readiness and report maintenance or breakdown issues.
• Follow biosafety, infection control, PPE, and biomedical waste management standards.
• Support internal quality control, audits, and laboratory accreditation readiness.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and quality-focused histopathology support.
