Job summary

Drlogy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Pathology Incharge to oversee the daily operations of the pathology laboratory at SGVP Campus, Ahmedabad.

The role involves ensuring accurate diagnostic testing, quality control, and staff supervision in a full-time, on-site setting. You will coordinate sample processing, review workflows, maintain equipment and inventory, monitor test quality, and work with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and reliable diagnostic

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in pathology laboratory management.
• MLT qualification required.
• NABL documentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the pathology laboratory.
• Manage and guide laboratory technicians and support staff.
• Ensure proper collection, labeling, processing, and storage of patient samples.
• Monitor the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
• Ensure timely completion and reporting of diagnostic tests.
• Coordinate with pathologists and doctors regarding laboratory requirements.
• Implement and monitor internal quality control procedures.
• Ensure participation in external quality assurance programs, where applicable.
• Monitor laboratory equipment performance and arrange regular maintenance.
• Ensure proper calibration and validation of laboratory instruments.
• Maintain adequate stock of reagents, chemicals, and consumables.
• Monitor expiry dates and storage conditions of laboratory materials.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and infection control protocols.
• Supervise biomedical waste segregation and disposal.
• Maintain laboratory registers, reports, and quality documentation.
• Investigate and address sample-related or testing discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laboratory regulations and accreditation standards.
• Prepare duty schedules and allocate responsibilities among laboratory staff.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to resolve diagnostic service issues.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements in laboratory efficiency.
