Job summary

Clarivate's Medtech Data team in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Senior Analyst to drive data analysis, market research (primary and secondary), competitive analysis, forecasting, and tailored consulting for medical devices and healthcare markets.

You will work with SQL, Python, and Excel, manage datasets for market modeling, maintain product catalogs, research novel device markets, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Hybrid work in Bangalore with a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience using SQL and Python.
• BE or MSc in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle tight deadlines.
• Exposure to Medtech data and Healthcare domain is a plus.
• Experience with data vendors.
• Expertise in R/Tableau/Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer worldviews and pain points; collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems.
• Build, mine, and manage multiple datasets for market modeling and analysis.
• Maintain existing Medtech product catalogs.
• Research novel device markets, competitors, uses, and product segmentation.

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Medtech Data team in Bengaluru, India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Data analysis, market research (including both primary and secondary research), competitive analysis, forecasting, and conduct custom consulting projects for medical devices and healthcare markets. Clarivate’s Medtech Data team harnesses real‑world healthcare data and identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources to help medical device companies make some of their most important business decisions.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data using SQL and Python
• B.E or M.Sc. in the disciplines of Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong presentation and written communication skills
• Ability to handle tight deadlines
• You are solution-oriented and understand the importance of timely execution while juggling multiple priorities.
• It would be great if you also had . . . Understanding of Medtech data and Healthcare domain.
• Exposure to Medtech or Claims/Pharmacy data.
• Experience working with data from data vendors.
• Expertise in anyone (or more) of the data analysis tools/languages such as – R/Tableau/Power BI is a plus.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Understand the worldview and pain points of Clarivate customers, working closely with the stake holders as a problem-solver.
• Effectively build, mine, and manage multiple datasets, which will be required for market modelling and analysis.
• Maintain existing Medtech product catalogs.
• Research and understand novel device markets, including major competitors, uses, and product segmentation.
• Evaluate data outputs for market trends and draw insights; correct any potential errors and issues.
• Contribute your vision; influence the evolution of our products, data models, and data usage strategy.
