Job summary

Roche India - Roche Services and Solutions is hiring a Lead/Senior Analyst in Analytics & Intelligence. You will collaborate with USMA and Field analytics teams to drive data-driven medical strategies and improve patient outcomes using real-world data, claims, and EHR/EMR sources.

You will develop scalable data pipelines and analytical frameworks, mentor junior members, and communicate insights through clear presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biostatistics).
• 4–8 years of analytics/consulting experience; pharma/healthcare preferred.
• Master's degree is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics initiatives across Medical Affairs, real-world data, HEOR and patient outcomes.
• Build scalable data pipelines and automation for large healthcare datasets.

As a Senior Analyst – Medical Analytics, you will collaborate closely with Field analytics & Insights - Medical, U.S. Medical Affairs (USMA) teams. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven medical strategy and enhancing patient outcomes through advanced analytics.

Your Opportunity

Lead complex analytics initiatives supporting Medical Affairs across areas such as real-world data analysis, patient outcomes, treatment pathways, pre & post launch tracking, customer list generation and disease progression Partner with Field Medical and Medical Networks teams to generate insights from HCP/KOL engagement data, enabling optimization of medical strategies and field effectiveness Develop and implement scalable data pipelines, automation solutions, and analytical frameworks to process and analyze large healthcare datasets Work on analytics use cases spanning HEOR, medical impact assessment, patient journey analytics, and health equity research Leverage diverse datasets such as claims, EHR/EMR, clinical trial data, and interaction data (MSL/HCP engagements) to derive actionable insights Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate scientific and business questions into analytical solutions and deliver high-quality outputs Create clear and impactful presentations to communicate complex clinical and scientific insights to stakeholders Act as a thought partner by delivering high-quality, scientifically grounded analytics solutions and recommendations Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and stakeholder alignment Work across global teams and time zones to support business needs Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building within the team.

Who you are

You hold a bachelor’s degree in Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biostatistics, or a related discipline, with 4–8 years of analytics/consulting experience, including 2–5 years in Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare analytics. A Master’s degree is an added advantage Strong experience in Medical Analytics, real-world data analysis, clinical analytics, or outcomes research Hands-on experience working with healthcare datasets such as claims, EHR/EMR, clinical trials, and field medical interaction data Good understanding of U.S. Medical Affairs ecosystem, including Field Medical, Medical Networks, and Scientific Operations Proficiency in SQL and Excel, along with strong programming skills in Python, R, or SAS Experience in building data pipelines, automation workflows, and scalable analytical solutions Strong understanding of statistical techniques, data modelling, and analytical problem-solving Exposure to therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, neurology, etc., is preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
