Job summary

Roche India - Roche Services and Solutions is seeking a Lead/Senior Analyst in Analytics & Intelligence to drive medical analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with Field analytics, USMA, and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights using real-world data, claims, EHR/EMR, and clinical trials.

The role requires 4–8 years of analytics experience, strong SQL/Excel, and programming in Python, R, or SAS.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of analytics/consulting experience, including 2–5 years in Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biostatistics, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Hands-on with healthcare datasets such as claims, EHR/EMR, clinical trials, and field medical interaction data.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analytics initiatives supporting Medical Affairs across real-world data analysis, patient outcomes, treatment pathways, post-launch tracking, and disease progression.
• Partner with Field Medical and Medical Networks teams to derive insights from engagement data and optimize medical strategies.
• Develop and implement scalable data pipelines, automation solutions, and analytical frameworks for large healthcare datasets.
• Translate scientific and business questions into analytical solutions and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Communicate complex clinical insights through clear, impactful presentations to stakeholders.

As a Senior Analyst – Medical Analytics, you will collaborate closely with Field analytics & Insights - Medical, U.S. Medical Affairs (USMA) teams. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven medical strategy and enhancing patient outcomes through advanced analytics.

Your Opportunity

• Lead complex analytics initiatives supporting Medical Affairs across areas such as real-world data analysis, patient outcomes, treatment pathways, pre & post launch tracking, customer list generation and disease progression
• Partner with Field Medical and Medical Networks teams to generate insights from HCP/KOL engagement data, enabling optimization of medical strategies and field effectiveness
• Develop and implement scalable data pipelines, automation solutions, and analytical frameworks to process and analyze large healthcare datasets
• Work on analytics use cases spanning HEOR, medical impact assessment, patient journey analytics, and health equity research
• Leverage diverse datasets such as claims, EHR/EMR, clinical trial data, and interaction data (MSL/HCP engagements) to derive actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate scientific and business questions into analytical solutions and deliver high-quality outputs
• Create clear and impactful presentations to communicate complex clinical and scientific insights to stakeholders
• Act as a thought partner by delivering high-quality, scientifically grounded analytics solutions and recommendations
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and stakeholder alignment
• Work across global teams and time zones to support business needs
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building within the team

Who You Are

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biostatistics, or a related discipline, with 4–8 years of analytics/consulting experience, including 2–5 years in Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare analytics. A Master’s degree is an added advantage
• Strong experience in Medical Analytics, real-world data analysis, clinical analytics, or outcomes research
• Hands‑on experience working with healthcare datasets such as claims, EHR/EMR, clinical trials, and field medical interaction data
• Good understanding of U.S. Medical Affairs ecosystem, including Field Medical, Medical Networks, and Scientific Operations
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel, along with strong programming skills in Python, R, or SAS
• Experience in building data pipelines, automation workflows, and scalable analytical solutions
• Strong understanding of statistical techniques, data modelling, and analytical problem-solving
• Exposure to therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, neurology, etc., is preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
