Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Pune seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer with 5–15 years of hands-on experience to drive hardware design across digital, analog, and power domains for high‑speed products.

You will work on LPDDR5/4/3, PCIe 4/5, Ethernet and camera interfaces, perform SI/verification, collaborate with mechanical, firmware and layout teams, and ensure manufacturability and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of hardware design experience.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware design responsibilities across Digital, Analog and power domains.
• Lead high-speed design efforts involving LPDDR5/4/3, PCIe 4/5 and Ethernet interfaces.
• Perform signal integrity analysis and verification for complex boards.
• Develop and test modules based on SoCs from major vendors.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Thermal, Firmware and Layout teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
• Interact with vendors for component selection and RoHS compliance.
• Document hardware designs and ensure conformance to standards and client requirements.

Job description

We are looking for Senior Hardware Engineer,

Experience: 5-15 years

Location: Pune

• Strong HW design and analysis knowledge in Digital, Analog and power domains
• Should have experience in working on high-speed designs which involve LPDDR5/4/3, PCI4.0/5.0, SGMII/RGMII, Ethernet(1G/2.5G/5G/10G) , SFI,UFS Flash, USB3.0, RS232/485, SPI, I2C and having involved in Signal Integrity analysis
• Should have been involved in design, implementation and testing of Modules (based on SoCs from Nvidia,Samsung,Infineon,Renesas,NXP) ARM multi-Core processor based systems.
• Should have experience on high-speed Camera (GMSL or MIPI/CSI), Display Interface Circuit.
• Should have experience in analog designs which involves op-amp, ADC, DAC and filters.
• Should have experience in component selection, RoHS and interacting with vendors for technical clarifications.
• Should be proficient in understanding of hardware development process for meeting product specifications, cost targets and schedule commitments
• Should have experience in using Altium tools for both schematics and PCB design
• Should have experience in interacting with Mechanical, thermal, firmware and Layout teams.
• Should have experience in understanding about the industrial standards
• applicable to the electronic systems/products and implementation
• Good knowledge about electronic board manufacturing processes as well as thorough understanding of hardware development process & complete project lifecycle
• Should have good HW debugging skills and HW verification methods at interface level
• Good knowledge of using lab equipments like Oscilloscope, DMM,power supplies, Electronic load, Logic Analyzers, Network Analyzer, spectrum Analyzer etc.
• Should have knowledge and experience in EMI/EMC testing and debugging
• Should be able to understand documentation standards in the organization as well as client requirements and implement the same
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
