Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru is seeking a Technical Lead to drive Guidewire BillingCenter projects within a global client base. The role requires hands-on configuration expertise, strong Java/JEE skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

You will coordinate with onsite teams, manage deliverables, mentor engineers, and maintain clear status reporting while engaging with customers. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MCA with 3–7 years of industry experience.
• Experience in Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration.
• Thorough knowledge of various BillingCenter concepts.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Proficiency in Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT.

About the role

Technical Lead in the Technology Consulting team.

Responsibilities

• Work on Guidewire implementation projects for customers across the globe
• Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators
• Planning and monitoring project deliverables from the team
• Mentor the project team in executing identified projects
• Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
• Interface with customer representatives as needed
• Willing to travel to customer locations as needed

Requirements

• BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 3 to 7 years
• Experience in Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration
• Thorough knowledge and hands‑on experience of various BillingCenter concepts
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
• Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT
• Strong in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System
• Strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic
• Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration
• Excellent business communication skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Prior Client facing experience
