Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced Guidewire Billing Developer/Architect with hands-on BillingCenter development and cloud experience. The role emphasizes integration, configuration, and upgrades in a hybrid, PAN India environment.

Ideal candidates will have BillingCenter certification and strong insurance domain knowledge, with exposure to CI/CD and modern tooling. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to best practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Guidewire BillingCenter development and configuration.
• Strong Gosu, GUnit and PCF knowledge required.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud and integrations.
• Familiarity with SOAP/REST, XML/JSON and messaging.
• Guided by Agile/Scrum methodologies in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire BillingCenter applications.
• Develop and maintain business rules, workflows, PCF screens, plugins, and batch processes.
• Implement integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST web services, messaging, and APIs.
• Analyze business requirements and provide scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in Guidewire upgrades, cloud migrations, and production support.
• Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with BAs, Architects, QA, and stakeholders throughout SDLC.
• Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices and coding standards.

Job Summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced Guidewire Billing Developer / Architect with strong expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter development and configuration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Guidewire implementation projects, enhancements, integrations, and cloud-based Guidewire environments. Candidates with Guidewire BillingCenter Certification and Guidewire Cloud experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire BillingCenter applications.
• Develop and maintain business rules, workflows, PCF screens, plugins, and batch processes.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience in Guidewire BillingCenter Development.
• Strong expertise in Gosu, GUnit, PCF, Data Model, Business Rules, and Workflows.
• Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework.
• Knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs, XML, JSON, and Messaging Services.
• Experience in Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domain.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire BillingCenter Developer Certification (Mandatory/Preferred based on requirement).
• Experience in Guidewire Cloud Upgrade/Migration projects.
• Knowledge of PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter integration touchpoints.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server)

Nice to Have

• Experience in Guidewire Cloud Digital Integration.
• Exposure to Insurance Billing Operations and Financial Transactions.
• Experience working with global insurance clients in Personal or Commercial Lines.
