Job summary

EliteRecruitments is seeking a Technical Lead in Technology Consulting to drive Guidewire implementation projects globally. You will lead technical streams, coordinate with onsite teams, and mentor project members to ensure successful delivery.

Required are 5–11 years of experience, strong Guidewire onprem integration and Java/Camel skills, plus experience in Guidewire Cloud and insurance domain. You may travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Guidewire onprem integration patterns (Messaging, SOAP/REST, file imports/exports, batch processing).
• Extensive Guidewire integration experience including batches, messaging, and cloud integration concepts (API gateway, enterprise integrations).
• Proficient in Core and Advanced Java with Camel framework experience.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud environment (Console/S3 Bucket/Secrets/Helios).
• Solid understanding of business functional flows and design patterns.
• Excellent communication and ability to meet project timelines.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and related domains.
• Strong Java, XML, SQL, ANT, and related tech stack knowledge.
• Strong PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and enterprise messaging systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Tomcat and/or WebSphere/WebLogic.

Responsibilities

• Lead as a technical team leader on Guidewire implementation projects.
• Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators and customer representatives.
• Plan and monitor project deliverables; mentor team members.
• Provide regular status reports to managers and onsite teams.
• Travel to customer locations as needed.

Job description

Technical Lead in the Technology Consulting team to work on various Guidewire implementation projects for our customers across the globe.

Your client responsibilities:

• Need to work as a team leader (technical leader) to contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation project.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing the identified projects
• Regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators
• Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed
• Willing to travel to the customers locations on need basis

We are looking for the candidates with the following: BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 5 to 11 years.

You will need to have:(Core Competencies)

Mandatory skills:

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Guidewire onprem Integration Patterns, which includes:
  • Messaging
  • SOAP/REST Services
  • File Imports/Exports
  • Batch Processing
• Highly experienced in Guidewire Integration, batches, messaging, cloud integration concepts like Integration API Gateway, enterprise integrations to other insurance Apps, etc.
• Proficient in Core and Advanced Java, along with experience in the Camel open-source integration framework.
• Experience with the Guidewire Cloud environment (Console/S3 Bucket/Secrets/Helios/…etc) configuration.
• Should possess a solid understanding of business functional flows along with design patterns.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adhere/support project timelines
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
• Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT
• Strong in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System
• Should have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic
• Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, Preferably from Insurance domain background
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills
• Excellent leadership skills

Experience preferred: Guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance sector.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Guidewire Integration
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
