Senior Graphic Designer
Industry: EdTech (Education Technology)
Location: Bangalore
Reporting To: Associate Director, Global Brand & Comms
Position Overview
Every teacher, school leader, and parent who meets TutorCloud meets it through something a designer made. A post in their feed, a brochure on a principal's desk, a booth at a conference in Dubai. We are hiring
a Senior Graphic Designer to shape how all of it looks and feels, and to build the visual language of an AI education brand while it is still being written.
This is a rare chance to design from a blank page. There is no legacy style guide to work around and no tired templates to clean up. You will set the system, make the calls, and raise the creative bar across India, the US, and the UAE, three markets that each respond to different visuals, colors, and tones. AI design tools are part of how we work, so we want someone who uses them to move faster and try more ideas, and who knows when a piece needs a human hand.
You will lead as well as make. Alongside your own work, you will guide freelance and junior designers,
review what goes out under our name, and keep quality steady as volume grows.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Build and own TutorCloud's visual identity (logo, color, type, iconography, illustration and photo style)
along with the template library and brand guidelines the whole team uses - Review work from freelancers and teammates before it goes live, with feedback that is specific and useful
- Mentor junior designers and freelancers, and help shape the design team as it grows
- Manage the freelance design pool: brief them, review output, and spread the workload so deadlines hold and budget stays in check
- Work with the Associate Director on creative direction for campaigns, launches, and events
Creative Execution
- Social: static posts, carousels, YouTube thumbnails, reel covers, and story formats for Instagram,
LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, on a weekly content calendar, with simple motion graphics where they help a post perform - Collaterals: brochures, one-pagers, sales decks, case studies, product explainers, pricing grids, and pitch templates for sales and leadership
- Campaigns and web: ad creatives in multiple sizes and variants, newsletter and email banners,
website graphics, and blog visuals - Events and PR: booth graphics, standees, banners, badges, gifting, and merch, plus visuals for op-eds, media features, and leadership content
- Adapt one core idea for India (teachers and school decision makers), the US (district leaders and parents), and the UAE (schools), so each feels native to its market
AI-Assisted Design and Ways of Working
- Use AI tools for concepting, image generation, background edits, resizing, and quick variations, and help the team get better at prompting
- Make sure AI-generated images are on brand and cleared for commercial use before anything goes live
- Take briefs, ask sharp questions, give clear briefs of your own, and keep source files organized so anyone can find and reuse them
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
- A core brand toolkit and template library for social, decks, and collaterals is in place and the team uses it daily
- Social creatives go out on time every week without last-minute rushes, and core sales and event collaterals are refreshed
- Freelancers are briefed and working to a clear process, and AI tools are part of the everyday workflow with faster turnaround
- At least one campaign or event has been designed from start to finish under your direction
Who You Are
- 5 to 7 years of graphic or brand design experience, in-house at a brand or at a digital agency
- Strong with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), plus Figma and Canva
- Must have: hands-on experience with AI design tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Photoshop Generative Fill, Canva Magic Studio, and Ideogram, and a good grasp of prompting and refining AI
output - Basic motion design with After Effects or a similar tool is a strong plus
- A sharp eye for typography, layout, and color, with the confidence to set brand standards and work within them
- Some experience leading, formally or informally: mentoring a junior, managing freelancers, or reviewing other people's work
- Comfortable juggling several requests at once, explaining your design thinking, and taking clear, direct feedback
- A feel for US and Middle East design sensibilities is a plus
- A portfolio showing social and brand work is required
What We Offer
- A brand identity you build from the ground up, with ownership across social, collaterals, and events from day one
- A seat next to Brand & Comms leadership, with a real voice in creative direction
- Three very different markets (India, the US, and the UAE) and a steady supply of interesting design problems
- A growing Brand & Comms team (social, content, video) to create with every day, and a path to a design lead role as it scales
