HSBC Holdings in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Senior Fund Administrator to join our Transfer Agency team. You will process trades, registrations, and settlements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting while upholding strict controls.

Qualifications

• Graduate/ postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Banking is required.
• Knowledge of securities industry with mutual funds experience is essential.
• 2–3 years of experience in Transfer Agency or Fund services operations is required.
• Familiarity with regulations such as CASS, IMR, GDPR, FATCA/CRS is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume, high-value transactions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Fund Administratior

In this role, you will:

• This role operates in a highly time critical environment and is required to be fully involved in processing of trades (Subscription and redemptions), reporting and settlements activities, corporate actions, fund price and other activities relating to transfer agency functions with focus on below listed responsibility areas:
• Checking all transactions and activities (depending on business requirement, this role may undertake input and processing of transactions, where in that scenario, the relevant checks will be undertaken by another checker of the same level)
• Manage high volume and high value transactions and ensure no trades/activities are missed, which would result in claims and adverse client impact.
• Day to day processing of activities within the department to ensure that all tasks are processed in accordance with agreed procedures and controls and in accordance with relevant fund parameters.
• Suggest and implement improvements to the Transfer Agency processes and procedures in consultation with the Supervisor.
• Process productivity and quality targets are set, monitored and achieved to ensure optimum resource utilization and achievement of business objectives and customer SLA’s agreed with clients.
• Ensure that the team are customer focused and that a high standard of service is provided.
• Problem situations are proactively identified and resolved to give maximum customer satisfaction and escalated where necessary. Appropriate measures are taken to improve quality and prevent recurrence
• Drive rigorous and customer centric Quality Campaigns and initiatives to increase Quality awareness in the team.
• All operations are performed as per laid down procedures and ensure all procedural controls are effectively monitored and adhered.

To be successful you will:

• A graduate/ post-graduate diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking is a must have requirement. Higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position.
• Knowledge of securities industry essential and preferably experience in handling Mutual Fund investors/investments. Strong computer skills in Excel and Microsoft Word
• At least 2-3 years of Prior experience in Transfer Agency & Registrar or Fund services operations is must.
• Working knowledge and prior experience/understanding of regulations such as CASS (Client Money), IMR (Investor Money regulations, GDPR, FATCA and CRS, CSSF.
• Demonstration of strong knowledge of TA Operational Transaction Activity for the UK/Europe/Asia industry specifically Luxemburg Transfer Agency is desirable.
• CISI – Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Certifications
• Understanding of Market and Mutual Fund operations desirable
• Practical experience of process reviews and re-engineering would be beneficial.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring new and junior members of the team is desirable
