Job summary

Softhealer seeks an experienced Odoo Functional Project Manager to lead end-to-end Odoo implementations and customizations. You will coordinate with developers and clients, ensuring feasible, high-quality solutions across Sales, Inventory, Accounting, and Manufacturing modules.

The role requires strong functional Odoo knowledge, excellent project management, and effective stakeholder communication to drive successful deliveries and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Odoo implementations.
• Experience across Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing/MRP, Supply Chain, and Multi-Company.
• Strong project planning, scope, risk, change-control, and resource management skills.
• Ability to coordinate with developers and explain implementation possibilities to clients.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Odoo implementation, customization, migration, and integration projects.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into practical Odoo solutions and workflows.
• Guide and review Odoo configuration and implementation across relevant business processes and modules.
• Act as the key bridge between clients, functional consultants, developers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with developers on customizations, integrations, APIs, and technical requirements, ensuring solutions are functionally aligned and feasible.
• Communicate implementation possibilities, limitations, dependencies, and risks to clients and internal teams.
• Manage project scope, timelines, priorities, resources, dependencies, risks, and change requests.
• Manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery and effective task allocation.
• Handle client escalations, stakeholder communication, project status updates, and major implementation decisions.
• Guide functional consultants in resolving complex functional issues and ensure consistency across projects.
• Oversee testing, UAT, deployment, project documentation, and handover.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve Odoo implementation and project delivery processes.
• Participate in solution discussions, effort estimation, project planning, and technical/functional feasibility assessments during the pre-sales or project initiation stage.

Must Have

• Experience working across multiple Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing/MRP, Supply Chain, and Multi-Company.
• Strong understanding of customized Odoo implementations, beyond standard configuration.
• Working knowledge of Odoo architecture, custom modules, integrations/APIs, and technical feasibility sufficient to coordinate effectively with developers and explain implementation possibilities to clients.
• Strong project planning, scope, risk, change-control, and resource management skills.
• Proven experience in client and stakeholder management, including handling escalations and difficult project situations.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
