Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Full Stack UI Engineer to design, develop, and enhance scalable web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate with product, UX, engineering, and architecture teams to build modern, secure, and high-performing solutions.

You will lead front-end and full-stack initiatives, build reusable components, integrate RESTful APIs, and ensure robust security practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building modern web apps with React.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and front-end engineering.
• Experience designing scalable architectures for web apps.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating distributed services.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols and secure coding practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Familiar with SDLC, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to influence technical decisions.

About the Role

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated 5+ Years experience developing modern web applications using React.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and front-end application development.
• Expertise in designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software architectures.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating distributed services.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols, application security principles, and secure coding practices.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in software development lifecycle practices, including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Angular or additional modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Node.js and backend frameworks such as Express.
• Knowledge of functional programming concepts and frameworks.
• Experience developing and supporting Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms.
• Experience with front-end build, automation, and DevOps tooling.
