Job summary

FIS in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer (Java with React) with 6 to 10 years of experience to join the DigitalOne Solutions team.

The role involves designing, developing and testing software systems and applications, with ownership of complex technical topics and collaboration across agile teams. You will work on cutting-edge financial software platforms in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering is required.
• 6–10 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficient in React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, Rest, Hibernate.
• Experience with SOAP/RESTful microservices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Plan, design, develop and test software systems and enhancements.
• Internally recognized specialist on complex technical matters. Champions significant projects using leadership and creativity.
• Technical ownership of 1-2 development areas and contributes to other areas.

• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for results.
• Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in software development methodologies and best practices
• Experience in React +, JavaScript, HTML and CSS and Typescript
• Hands on experience in building applications using Core Java, J2ee, Spring, Spring MVC, Rest, Hibernate
• Experience with Soap/Restful Microservice
• Excellent programming skills and proven expertise in OOP and other programming concepts
• Experience with Bootstrap and other UI development toolkits/frameworks
• Experience with working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience in developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, including integration with internal and external systems
