Job summary

Freudenberg Filtration Technologies India Private Limited in Pune, India, seeks an experienced application developer to lead the design and development of advanced applications, crafting efficient code to support automation and complex business needs.

You will collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions, perform thorough testing and QA, and document architecture while mentoring junior developers and upholding coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• At least 5 years of application development experience.
• Strong programming skills across relevant languages.
• Experience with SDLC, version control, and QA processes.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Application Design and Development: Lead the development of advanced applications, writing efficient, maintainable code to support complex business requirements and process automation initiatives
• Collaboration and Requirement Analysis: Work closely with project teams, business units, and stakeholders to understand requirements, qualify specifications, and translate them into effective application solutions
• Testing, Debugging, and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure applications function as expected, meeting quality and performance standards
• Documentation and Compliance: Create and maintain detailed documentation of application architecture, code, and design changes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
• Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to existing applications based on user feedback and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Mentorship and Technical Guidance: Provide mentorship to junior developers, supporting their growth and ensuring coding standards and best practices are upheld
• Code Review and Quality Control: Lead code reviews and quality checks to maintain high standards, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code reliability and maintainability
