Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build governance tech using Collibra, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled coding. You will shape workflows, automation, and full‑stack apps that manage data, AI, and digital assets across a global organisation.

You will collaborate with governance specialists, product owners, and engineers, translating business needs into scalable solutions while mentoring peers and implementing best practices in CI/CD, security, and operations.

Join Macquarie Asset Management's Data & Digital Asset Governance Technology team and play a key role in shaping the platforms, workflows, and automation that support data, digital asset, and AI governance across the business. We're loo king for an experienced engineer with strong Collibra workflow and platform expertise and modern AI-coding experience, who enjoys combining software engineering, process automation, and platform development to solve complex business challenges. You'll work on a modern governance technology ecosystem using Collibra, cloud technologies, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted engineering practices. This is an opportunity to own and influence a strategic governance platform used across a global organisation while continuing to develop your engineering skills in a collaborative and innovative team. You’ll use full-stack development, AI-assisted engineering practices, and the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform to create practical governance solutions for Macquarie Asset Management.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing the technology solutions that support our governance ecosystem. You will design and develop Collibra workflows, governance automation capabilities, and full-stack applications that improve the management of data, AI, and digital assets. Working closely with governance specialists, product owners, and engineers, you will translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions, contribute to architecture decisions, and drive innovation through AI and automation. Additionally, you will mentor team members and help foster engineering best practices across the team.

• Strong 6-9 years experience building and maintaining Collibra workflows and governance process automation.
• Experience with AI-enabled coding and modern software engineering practices
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, application development, testing, CI/CD, security, and operational support.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to coach and mentor others.
