Job summary

CareerXperts Consulting is seeking a Senior Frontend Architect to own the paved path for frontend engineering across web apps and a cross-platform desktop app used by hundreds of internal engineers and millions of end users.

You will design modular SDKs and component libraries, architect scalable frontend systems, mentor engineers, and drive architectural patterns to raise code quality and maintainability across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in frontend engineering with a track record of improving code quality and culture.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, state management, and testing frameworks.
• Experience designing scalable, reusable component libraries/SDKs for complex apps.
• Strong communicator who owns problems and drives architectural excellence across teams.

This team owns the "paved path" for all engineering teams to build and ship web-based applications - covering shared libraries, build tooling, dev infrastructure, and a cross-platform desktop app relied on by hundreds of internal engineers and 30M+ end users. You'll have direct influence on the architecture and standards that shape the entire frontend ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Design modular, well-documented SDKs and component libraries for internal and external developers, with a focus on usability, accessibility, performance, and cross-platform support
• Architect extensible frontend systems with clear boundaries and abstraction layers
• Define and evangelize architectural patterns that raise code quality and maintainability across teams

• Partner with product and engineering to identify and eliminate technical debt through strategic refactors

About You

• 8+ years in frontend engineering, with a track record of raising the quality bar through both technical and cultural impact
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, state management, and testing frameworks
• Experience designing scalable, reusable component libraries/SDKs for complex applications
• Strong communicator who takes ownership of problems (not just solutions) and thrives within constraints

Nice to Have

• Experience with Electron or similar cross-platform/desktop-web hybrid environments
• Track record of building open-source libraries/SDKs with 1000+ active developers
