Job summary

Quess Corp Limited is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer (Frontend Lead) to design and deliver a data-heavy B2B application. You will own Angular SPA architecture, translate complex requirements into practical solutions, and collaborate with product, UX/UI, backend, and security teams.

The role emphasizes data modelling, secure SPA design, and strong technical leadership to drive quality and CI/CD delivery in an enterprise automotive context.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing production apps with Angular and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of Angular architecture, routing, DI, forms, interceptors, guards, and RxJS.
• Experience with Angular Material, PrimeNG, AG Grid, Angular CDK, or dashboards.
• Experience building data-heavy enterprise UIs with server-side filtering, pagination, dashboards.
• Strong REST API integration with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Strong understanding of OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, role-based access, secure SPA design.
• Strong PostgreSQL data modelling and relational design.
• Frontend testing with Jasmine/Karma, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Security awareness: XSS prevention, CSP, token handling, dependency security.
• Demonstrated technical-leadership: decisions, mentoring, risk identification.

Job description

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to lead the frontend design and delivery ofa data-heavy B2B application supporting lead management, vehicle/customer insights, dashboards, and dealer-facing workflows in an enterprise automotive environment.

This is primarily a Frontend Lead role with data modelling requirement. You will combine strong Angular development skills with technical leadership, UX-oriented solution design, business understanding, and the ability to shape API and data-model requirements. You will work closely with product owners, business users, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, IAM/security teams, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Lead the technical design and frontend architecture of a modern Angular SPA.
• Translate business requirements, user journeys, wireframes, and user feedback into clear, practical, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Contribute to data modelling discussions, particularly PostgreSQL relational models supporting lead, vehicle, customer, dealer, outlet, role, feedback, and reporting workflows.
• Lead secure frontend integration with enterprise IAM using OAuth2/OIDC, Azure Entra ID/BusinessID, JWT bearer tokens, route guards, and role/claim-based UI behaviour.
• Ensure authorization and Row-Level Security requirements are correctly understood and implemented through backend/data-layer controls, not frontend-only logic.
• Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, mentor frontend engineers, and drive high-quality engineering practices.
• Support delivery through CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, release validation, and deployment of frontend code.
• Participate in security, privacy, compliance, architecture, and penetration-test remediation activities.

What You Bring

• Strong professional experience developing production applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of Angular architecture, standalone components, routing, dependency injection, reactive forms, HTTP interceptors, route guards, change detection, and RxJS.
• Experience with Angular Material, PrimeNG, AG Grid, Angular CDK, or dashboard/charting libraries.
• Experience building complex, data-heavy enterprise user interfaces with server-side filtering, sorting, pagination, search, drill-down views, and dashboards.
• Strong REST API integration experience, ideally working with typed API contracts and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Strong understanding of OAuth2/OIDC, JWT tokens, role/claim-based access, token expiry, logout, and secure SPA design.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL data modelling and relational design.
• Define and maintain frontend testing approaches including unit, integration, and E2E testing using tools such as Jasmine/Karma, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience contributing to solution design across frontend, API, and data layers.
• Security awareness including XSS prevention, Content Security Policy concepts, secure token handling, and dependency security.
• Demonstrated technical-leadership skills: making and documenting technical decisions, mentoring engineers, communicating trade-offs, and proactively identifying delivery risks.

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying Angular applications using Azure Static Web Apps.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Docker-based frontend builds, and DEV/TEST/PROD release processes.
• Familiarity with Azure Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, managed identities, and secure CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Transloco or similar Angular internationalisation frameworks.
• Experience with SonarQube, Black Duck, dependency scanning, or enterprise security/compliance tooling.
