Job summary

Kumaran Systems in Chennai is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to design, develop, and maintain rich, responsive web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Angular, strong front-end engineering skills, and experience in Agile environments delivering enterprise-scale apps.

You will translate UI/UX wireframes into reusable components, implement responsive UIs, integrate with RESTful APIs, and collaborate closely with backend teams, QA, UX designers, and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong hands-on Angular (8+) experience.
• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RxJS and Observables.
• Familiarity with NgRx or similar state management.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SPAs using Angular (Angular 8+ preferred).
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and requirements into reusable Angular components.
• Implement responsive, cross-browser interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance.
• Write clean, modular, testable code and follow best practices.
• Participate in requirement analysis, estimation, and design discussions.
• Collaborate with backend, QA, UX designers, and product owners.
• Implement unit tests (Jasmine/Karma) and support CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot UI defects and performance issues.
• Maintain and improve front-end architecture, code structure, and documentation.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Angular Developer to design, develop, and maintain rich, responsive web applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Angular, strong front‑end engineering skills, and experience working in Agile environments building scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintainsingle page applications (SPAs)using Angular (Angular 8+ preferred).
• TranslateUI/UX wireframesand business requirements into high-quality, reusable Angular components.
• Implementresponsive, cross-browser compatibleuser interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Integrate front-end components withRESTful APIsand backend services.
• Optimize applications formaximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Writeclean, modular, testablecode following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate inrequirement analysis, estimation, and technical design discussions.
• Collaborate closely withbackend developers, QA, UX designers, and product owners.
• Implementunit tests(Jasmine/Karma or similar) and support automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolveUI defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Maintain and improvefront-end architecture, code structure, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Core Front-End Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience withAngular (Angular 8 or above).
• Solid understanding ofTypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience withAngular modules, components, services, directives, pipes, androuting.
• Strong understanding ofRxJS,Observables, andasynchronous programming.
• Experience withstate management(e.g., NgRx, Akita, or similar).
• Familiarity withAngular Forms(Template-driven and Reactive forms) andform validations.
• Experience withRESTful API integrationand handling JSON data.

Tools & Frameworks

• Experience withpackage managers(NPM/Yarn) andbuild tools(Angular CLI, Webpack).
• Proficiency withversion control systemssuch as Git.
• Experience withUI libraries / design systems(e.g., Angular Material, Bootstrap, PrimeNG) is highly desirable.

Development Practices

• Strong understanding ofUI/UX principles, responsive design, andcross-browser compatibility.
• Experience working inAgile/Scrumdevelopment environments.
• Familiarity withunit testing frameworks(Jasmine, Karma) and basic knowledge ofend-to-end testing(Protractor, Cypress, etc.).
• Good understanding ofweb security basics(XSS, CSRF, etc.) and performance best practices.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience integrating front-ends with.NET / Java / Node.jsbackends.
• Exposure tomicro frontendsand modular application architecture.
• Experience withCI/CD pipelines(Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Knowledge ofcloud platforms(AWS / Azure / GCP) and deployment of Angular apps.
• Experience withdesign systems, theming, and branding for enterprise applications.
• Familiarity withDockerand containerized deployments.
