Job summary

About the Role

Supervity AI is building next-generation enterprise AI solutions where AI-powered applications and agents help organizations automate and execute business workflows. As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will work directly with customers and internal engineering teams to understand business problems, design and build AI powered solutions, integrate enterprise systems, deploy solutions in customer environments, and continuously improve them. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing engineering role at the intersection of AI, software engineering, enterprise applications, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer & Business Understanding
   • Work directly with customers and business/technology stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and technical challenges.
   • Participate in requirement discussions, technical workshops, discovery sessions, demos, and solutioning discussions.
   • Translate business requirements into practical technical and AI‑driven solutions.
   • Understand customer priorities, dependencies, and success criteria.
2. AI & Software Engineering
   • Build AI-powered applications, agents, workflows, automations, and enterprise solutions.
   • Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.
   • Work with technologies such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or equivalent programming languages.
   • Develop solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, and related AI technologies.
   • Rapidly develop POCs/MVPs and convert successful prototypes into production‑ready solutions.
3. Enterprise Integration
   • Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and client platforms.
   • Work with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication, SSO, and other integration mechanisms.
   • Integrate with enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, ERP/CRM platforms, Microsoft ecosystems, and internal applications.
   • Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and deployment issues and drive them to resolution.
4. Deployment & Production Support
   • Deploy solutions across cloud, private-cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises environments as required.
   • Work with technologies such as Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and CI/CD depending on project requirements.
   • Participate in UAT, production deployment, post‑deployment support, monitoring, and optimization.
   • Diagnose and resolve issues related to applications, integrations, infrastructure, models, data, and workflows.
5. Solution Quality & Optimization
   • Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, observability, testing, and evaluation practices.
   • Optimize solutions for quality, reliability, performance, latency, cost, security, and scalability.
   • Identify opportunities for automation, improvement, and reuse.
   • Ensure solutions are maintainable, secure, and aligned with customer requirements.
6. Cross‑functional Collaboration
   • Work closely with Product, Engineering, TPM/Project Management, DevOps, and customer teams.
   • Communicate technical concepts and trade‑offs effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
   • Document technical solutions, implementation details, deployment procedures, troubleshooting steps, and learnings.
   • Convert customer learnings into reusable engineering patterns, playbooks, and product improvements.
7. Ownership
   • Take ownership of solutions from requirement through deployment and support.
   • Independently troubleshoot problems and drive them to closure.
   • Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with changing requirements.
   • For senior‑level roles, provide technical leadership and mentor junior FDEs where required.
