Role/Job Title: Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Function/Department: Finance & Accounts

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in financial reporting for the banking and NBFC sector. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Indian GAAP and Ind AS, along with hands‑on experience in the preparation and finalization of financial statements for a listed bank. This role requires a solid understanding of regulatory guidelines, including RBI circulars, and the ability to manage end‑to‑end financial reporting processes with accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and finalization of quarterly and annual financial statements as per Indian GAAP and Ind AS.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (Ind AS), Companies Act, RBI guidelines, and SEBI regulations.
  • Prepare schedules and disclosures required under regulatory filings, including RBI returns and notes to accounts.
  • Work closely with auditors (statutory, internal, and regulatory) to facilitate smooth and timely completion of audits.
  • Support the preparation of Board and Audit Committee presentations related to financial performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for data collation, analysis, and validation for financial reporting purposes.
  • Track and interpret new accounting pronouncements, RBI circulars, and other regulatory updates impacting financial reporting.
  • Assist in implementation and automation projects related to financial reporting systems and tools.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of financial reporting processes and internal controls.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas), Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Sound understanding of accounting systems, ERP platforms, and financial reporting tools.
  • Analytical mindset with strong numerical and problem‑solving skills.
