Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our Data Management team. The role focuses on delivering accurate market and reference data for global clients across asset classes, with emphasis on data quality, issue resolution, and process improvement.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, support onboarding and UAT activities, and mentor junior analysts. This is a hybrid role aligned with our flexible-work culture and client-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering market and reference data across multiple asset classes.
• Ability to perform advanced data quality checks and analysis.
• Experience with UAT testing and data onboarding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end financial data delivery activities in line with SLAs.
• Perform data quality checks and initial analysis of unexpected data behavior.
• Analyze complex data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and controls.
• Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with global Data Operations teams to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Support UAT activities, including test execution and defect tracking.
• Assist with client onboarding data setup and readiness checks.
• Mentor junior analysts and support their development.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The Senior Financial Data Analyst in the Data Management team at SimCorp, at the IC4 level, is responsible for delivering high-quality market and reference data for global clients across asset classes such as Equities, Funds, Fixed Income, and OTC Derivatives, in line with agreed service levels. With typically 4-6 years of experience, the role focuses on analyzing and validating financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability, while supporting informed business decisions. The Senior Financial Data Analyst collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and support teams to ensure effective data integration, issue resolution, and reporting, and contributes to improving data processes and controls to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Execute end-to-end financial data delivery activities, including pricing and reference data maintenance, in line with agreed SLAs.
• Perform advanced data quality checks and conduct initial analysis when unexpected data behavior is identified
• Analyze complex data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve data quality and controls
• Proactively contributes to continuous improvement of operational processes, with a focus on manual processes and higher-risk areas
• Maintain accurate documentation of business processes, operational procedures, and functional guidelines
• Collaborate with global Data Operations teams to share knowledge, ensure consistency, and avoid knowledge gaps
• Support and follow up on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and coordination with stakeholders
• Support client onboarding activities by assisting with data setup, validation, and readiness checks
• Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on daily activities and supporting their professional development
