Job summary

Locobuzz is seeking a proactive Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7-10+ years post-qualification experience to head the finance function. Reporting to founders, you will own financial planning, accounting, treasury, taxation, and governance across the business.

The role requires strategic partnership with leadership, oversight of international operations, ERP transformation, and a hands-on approach to drive profitability and fundraising readiness.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 7–10+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in SaaS, IT, or technology preferred.
• Ability to lead end-to-end finance operations and partner with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, MIS, modelling and management reporting.
• Oversee closings, financial statements, reconciliations, audits and accounting compliance.
• Manage treasury, cash flows, banking, collections, payables and vendor negotiations.
• Ensure GST, TDS, income tax, Companies Act compliance.
• Support fundraising, investor relations, board reporting and strategic planning.
• Coordinate finance reporting for overseas subsidiaries.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, SOPs and risk management.
• Drive ERP improvements, process automation and reporting efficiency.
• Lead the finance team and collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR, Legal.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive, commercially driven Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7-10+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably within the SaaS, IT, or technology industry, to lead the end-to-end finance function. Reporting to the founders, the ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, an ownership mindset, and the ability to independently manage finance operations while acting as a trusted strategic partner to the leadership team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial modelling, profitability analysis, and management reporting.
• Accounting & Reporting: Oversee financial closures, financial statements, reconciliations, audits, and accounting compliance.
• Treasury & Working Capital: Manage cash flows, banking facilities, collections, receivables, payables, and vendor negotiations.
• Taxation & Compliance: Ensure GST, TDS, income tax, Companies Act, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Strategic Finance: Support fundraising, investor relations, board reporting, business planning, and commercial decision-making.
• International Operations: Oversee financial reporting, taxation, and compliance coordination for overseas subsidiaries.
• Financial Governance: Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, SOPs, and risk management.
• Finance Transformation: Drive ERP improvements, process automation, AI adoption, and reporting efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Lead the finance team and collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR, Legal, and other functions.

KEY SKILLS / WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Qualified CA with 7–10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
• Strong expertise in FP&A, accounting, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Sound understanding of SaaS metrics, subscription revenue, and business profitability.
• Experience managing auditors, banking relationships, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Exposure to international operations, fundraising, and investor reporting preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and commercial negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP systems and finance automation.
