Job description

WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

• 1. Financial planning: Lead budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario planning. Model revenue, headcount, costs, cash flow and funding needs to assess growth opportunities and financial risks.
• 2. Performance & MIS: Own monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and business reviews. Track revenue, margins, EBITDA, spend and key KPIs; explain variances against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, and recommend corrective actions.
• 3. SaaS revenue insights: Analyse ARR, MRR, new business, renewals, churn, expansion and retention. Partner with Sales and Customer Success on revenue forecasts; review contracts, billing and revenue recognition to flag leakage and collection risks.
• 4. Cash & profitability: Forecast liquidity, cash burn and runway. Track department and project profitability, resource utilization, employee costs, cloud infrastructure and vendor spend; identify savings and improve working capital and cash conversion.
• 5. Business partnership: Evaluate hiring, investments, resource allocation and expansion through financial analysis and business cases. Connect business drivers with financial outcomes.
• 7. Finance transformation: Automate dashboards and reporting; standardize processes, SOPs and controls. Work with internal teams and accounting partners to improve data quality, reconciliations and reporting timelines while reducing manual dependencies.
• 8. Investor relations: Support the Finance Head with investor and Board updates, due diligence and strategic planning. Reconcile management reports and projections with statutory financials.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 1. Required: Qualified CA with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in business finance, FP&A, management reporting or financial analysis.
• 2. Advanced Excel and financial modelling; sound accounting, revenue recognition and controls knowledge; clear communication, attention to detail and independent ownership.
