Senior Finance Analyst- Credit Control

Job summary

JLL in Gurugram invites an experienced Credit Controller to manage regional debtor processes and optimize cash collection. You will ensure timely payments, chase overdue invoices, and maintain precise records while coordinating with the accounts team.

The role requires a minimum of 4 years in credit/receivables, a finance or accounting degree, and strong English communication. Hybrid/onsite flexibility and a proactive approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in managing credit and accounts receivables or in a similar credit management role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work in a team and individually, with sound IT skills including Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Experience in property/professional services is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Meet cash and debtor targets set by Business
• Ensure debts are paid in a timely manner by complying with credit terms
• Chase overdue invoices by phone, email, letters within agreed timescales
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
• Monitor disputes with Business/clients to ensure timely resolution
• Respond promptly to internal/external client requests
• Provide debtors reports weekly and ad hoc updates
• Advise Business on credit control matters and policies
• Collabrate with Accounts Receivable team (JLL shared service center)

What this job involves

• Responsible for own region/group within JLL
• Meet cash and debtor targets set by Business
• Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner - complying with set credit terms
• Chase overdue invoices by phone email letters within agreed timescales
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
• Monitor disputes with Business/clients to ensure resolved in a timely manner
• Respond promptly to internal/external clients' requests
• Work closely with the Business and provide debtors reports - weekly
• Escalate queries
• Escalate delinquent debtors
• Advise Business on credit control matters, Best Business Practice and Policies
• Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team (JLL shared service center)
• Provide ad hoc updates/reporting where required
• Build and maintain relationships with internal/external clients, at all levels
