Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services seeks a Senior Fashion Designer for a luxury Indian fashion brand in Okhla, New Delhi. The role requires translating the Founding Director's vision into refined, brand-consistent collections and collaborating with karigars, tailors, and in-house teams.

Ideal candidates are NIFT graduates with 3+ years in luxury designer wear and a strong grasp of textiles, embroideries and garment construction.

Qualifications

• Graduation from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) is required.
• 3+ years of experience in luxury / premium Indian designer wear.
• Strong understanding of Indian textiles, embroideries, surface development and garment construction.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Founding Director to capture concept, mood and vision for each collection.
• Design and develop products aligned with the brand aesthetic, positioning and customer.
• Lead execution with in-house tailors and karigars ensuring exceptional craftsmanship.
• Drive design development end-to-end from concept, sketches, surface development and sampling to production.
• Source fabrics, trims, embroideries and materials aligned with luxury positioning.
• Oversee production lifecycle to meet timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct trend and market research staying true to the brand language.
• Perform quality checks on samples and final garments for fit and finish.
• Continuously improve silhouettes, fits and finishes to elevate the product line.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer who can deeply understand and interpret the creative vision of our Founding Director and translate it into refined, brand-consistent and execution-ready collections.

This role is ideal for a NIFT graduate with strong experience in luxury Indian fashion, craftsmanship, and atelier-led production, and hands-on experience working with karigars, tailors, and in-house production teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work closely with the Founding Director to understand the concept, mood, and vision for each collection
• Design and develop products aligned with the brands aesthetic, positioning, and customer
• Lead and manage the execution of designs with in-house tailors and karigars, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and finish
• Drive design development end-to-end — from concept, sketches, surface development, and sampling to final production
• Source and develop fabrics, trims, embroideries, and materials aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning
• Oversee the entire production lifecycle to ensure timelines and quality benchmarks are met
• Conduct trend and market research while staying true to the brand’s design language
• Perform quality control checks on samples and final garments to ensure consistency of fit, finish, and detailing
• Continuously improve silhouettes, fits, and finishes to elevate the product line

Mandatory Candidate Criteria

• Education: Graduate from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) ONLY
• Batch: 2020 or earlier strongly preferred
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in luxury / premium Indian designer wear
• Strong understanding of Indian textiles, embroideries, surface development, and garment construction
• Proven experience working directly with karigars, tailors, and production teams
• Strong aesthetic sensibility with high attention to detail, proportion, and craftsmanship
• Highly execution-oriented, structured, and accountable
