Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual mentoring, tutoring, career guidance, and timely feedback while maintaining records.
  • Assess student performance through online assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation activities, and quality assurance.
  • Develop relationships with industry professionals for guest lectures, internships, and networking.
  • Collaborate with academic teams across locations to support programme delivery and institutional initiatives.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, webinars, Open Days, and other events; mentor junior faculty.

Job description

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality online lectures, webinars, tutorials, and workshops across undergraduate and postgraduate supply chain and logistics programmes.
  • Teach a broad range of subjects, including Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Procurement and Purchasing, Operations Management, Inventory Management, Global Supply Chains, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Lean Operations, Quality Management, and Sustainable Supply Chain Management.
  • Design, develop, review, and continuously enhance online course content, lesson plans, assessments, case studies, and digital learning resources aligned with programme outcomes and international academic standards.
  • Facilitate interactive virtual learning experiences using Learning Management Systems (LMS), video conferencing platforms, and other educational technologies.
  • Provide virtual academic mentoring, tutoring, career guidance, and timely feedback to students while monitoring academic progress and maintaining accurate academic records.
  • Assess student performance through online assignments, presentations, projects, case studies, simulations, quizzes, and examinations.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, programme reviews, accreditation activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, logistics providers, manufacturing organisations, procurement specialists, and supply chain associations to facilitate virtual guest lectures, industry projects, internships, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with academic teams across multiple locations to support programme delivery and institutional initiatives.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, virtual student engagement activities, webinars, Open Days, and other institutional events.
  • Mentor junior faculty members and contribute to fostering a collaborative and innovative online teaching environment.
Required Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

Education and Experience
  • Doctoral degree (PhD, DBA, or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management, or a closely related discipline from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate supply chain or logistics programmes in an online or blended learning environment.
  • Experience in curriculum development, programme review, and academic quality assurance.
  • Previous experience working remotely with international students and cross-functional academic teams is preferred.
  • A reliable high-speed internet connection, a dedicated professional home office, and the ability to work across multiple time zones are essential
