Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Senior Fabrics Developer to design and build enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, and Power BI.

You will lead data engineering initiatives, implement CI/CD, ensure governance, and collaborate with architects and analytics teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions.

Role involves building ingestion pipelines, optimizing ETL/ELT processes, and ensuring reliability across cloud-based data ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise data platforms using Fabric and Lakehouse architectures.
• Strong SQL, Python, and Spark programming skills.
• Experience in data governance and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Data Engineering capabilities.
• Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows, Notebooks, and Spark.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT solutions using Python, PySpark, SQL, and Spark technologies to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Design and implement Lakehouse architectures, Medallion frameworks (Bronze, Silver, Gold), and dimensional data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including Azure services, databases, APIs, SaaS applications, and cloud platforms while ensuring reliability and performance.
• Develop and optimize Fabric Warehouses, Semantic Models, and Power BI datasets to enable self-service analytics and business intelligence solutions.
• Implement data governance, security, lineage, metadata management, and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview and Fabric governance capabilities.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, alerting, and operational best practices to support enterprise-grade data solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive adoption of best practices across Microsoft Fabric, data engineering, and modern analytics platforms.
