Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Chennai seeks a Training Delivery & Facilitation professional to standardize clinical practices across clinics, train nurses, technicians, and POC staff, and improve patient outcomes.

You will visit centers monthly, ensure NABH/ISO compliance, conduct audits, and collaborate with clinical managers to close safety gaps and drive KPI achievement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of standardized clinical practices across all clinics.
• Conduct structured training programs for nurses, technicians, and POC staff to meet KPIs.
• Provide hands-on guidance to clinical staff to improve patient outcomes and reduce adverse events.
• Do clinic visits monthly with a tour plan to maintain work life balance.
• Ensure all clinical staff are trained and certified per NABH, ISO, and other guidelines.
• Identify and close safety-related NCs by coordinating with the concerned departments.
• Collaborate with clinical managers to identify care gaps and implement targeted training interventions.
• Monitor clinical outcomes such as Kt/V, hospitalizations, and infection rates for continuous improvement.
• Audit as per quality calendar and provide training support based on center findings.
• Share clinic visit reports highlighting observations and improvement areas with stakeholders.

Job description

Training Delivery & Facilitation:

• Ensure the implementation of standardized clinical practices across all clinics.
• Conduct structured training programs for nurses, technicians, and other point-of-care (POC) staff to meet clinical and organizational KPIs.
• Provide hands-on guidance to clinical staff to improve patient outcomes and reduce adverse events.
• Do clinic visits regularly on every month with prior tour plan in such a way to maintain work life balance.

Compliance Monitoring:

• Ensure all clinical staff are trained and certified in accordance with NABH, ISO, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and ensure to close any safety related NCs on time by coordinating with concern department/persons.

Clinical Outcomes Improvement & QIP:

• Collaborate with clinical managers to identify gaps in patient care and implement targeted training interventions.
• Monitor and analyse clinical outcomes such as Kt/V levels, hospitalization rates, and infection rates to ensure continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance Support:

• Do Audits as per Quality audit calendar by visiting centers, through which you can identify the areas of improvement in center and you can provide necessary support and trainings to staff of respective centers accordingly.
• Analyse the trend of incident reports, audits compliance, hospitalizations, mortality etc., to recommend and deliver targeted training to reduce cluster events, single patient events,

Stakeholder Collaboration & Patient Satisfaction

• Liaise with clinic managers, nephrologists, and corporate teams to align training needs with organizational goals.
• Contribute to business growth by enhancing patient retention and attracting new patients through consistent delivery of quality care.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of training activities, attendance, certifications, evaluation reports and outcomes.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to manager on training progress, clinical outcomes and compliance metrics.
• Share clinic visit report, highlighting key observations, areas of improvement, minutes of meeting had with hospital team members like consultant doctor, ICN, Quality team etc., post clinic visit to respective stake holders.

Incident Reporting and Risk Management:

• Promote a culture of transparency and accountability by improving the frequency and accuracy of on time incident reporting from the ground level.
• Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and develop training strategies to prevent recurrence.

Mock Drills and Emergency Preparedness:

• Plan and execute mock drills (e.g., fire safety, cardiac arrest response) at regular intervals to ensure staff readiness for emergencies.

Patient Education and Engagement:

• Execute patient education programs focusing on dialysis care, dietary management, infection prevention & Access care etc.,
