Responsibilities

• Check the documents of the candidates on leave and communicate with them by email and phone for the same.
• Follow-up calls at regular intervals for document status and availability.
• Look after new sourcing for Jr. Officers and Jr. Engineers.
• Recheck vessel-specific documents of the candidates once the vessel is assigned and obtain missing documents.
• Discuss joining plans with candidates and share vessel details.
• Book in-house and other vessel-specific courses for candidates on leave.
• Arrange mentoring for candidates due for promotions.
• Ensure documents pass audits, especially for the tanker cell.
• Liaise with fleet care team for letters related to DG & misc.
• Liaise with training institutes & candidates for STCW courses.
• Coordinate with manning offices/vessels to ensure all documents are valid for lined-up candidates.
• Coordinate with travel team before seafarer travel.
• Coordinate with license team regarding flag documents.
• Issue travel POs daily.

Job Position Summary

To work in the capacity of Senior Executive to take care of operations.

Documentation of existing candidates.

Clearing and vessel joining formalities of Existing candidates.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Check the documents of the candidates on leave and communicate with them by email and phone for the same. Thereafter follow-up calls at regular intervals for document status and availability

Looking after New sourcing for Jr. Officers and Jr. Eng ineers

Recheck vessel-specific documents of the candidates once the vessel is assigned. Get the missing documents from the candidate and upload if any. Call the candidate to discuss the joining plan and share vessel details.

Book in-house and other vessel-specific courses like LSH, DF etc. for the candidates on leave.

Book mentoring for candidates due for promotions.

Checking the documents for various audits mainly for the tanker cell.

Liaising with fleet care team for various letters related to DG & misc.

Checking / liaising with various training institutes & candidates for STCW courses.

To liaise with the manning offices / vessels and ensure all documents for lined up candidates are valid

Coordinate with travel team before seafarer's travel.

Coordinate with license team to connect related to the flag documents

Issuing travel PO's on daily basis .

Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications
