Diageo is seeking a Senior Executive Quality to strengthen quality operations across our manufacturing and packaging units in India. The role focuses on QA systems, SOP development, CAPA execution and daily QC oversight to ensure product integrity and compliance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze materials, assess non-conformities, coordinate with vendors, and maintain calibration and testing standards. Strong communication and coaching are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with quality management systems in FMCG/food processing.
• Ability to develop, implement and monitor SOPs and quality procedures.
• Experience driving CAPA and quality improvement projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for QA reporting.

• Analyze raw materials, blends, EOL Finished Goods and report findings to the unit head.
• Inspect packaging materials at units and markets and report to unit head.
• Communicate non-conformities to vendors and issue CAR.
• Ensure online QC such as line startup/changeover from water treatment to final packing.
• Coordinate with other departments for all rejection failures at unit.
• Calibrate lab equipment and manage calibration plan per supplier guidance.
• Maintain equipment as per supplier recommendations.
• Analyze samples for customer/consumer complaints and report findings to unit head.
• Standardize chemical reagents and calibration for the lab.
• Analyze non-conformities using CAPA tools and document improvements.
• Assist quality manager with QA tasks and MIS reporting to unit head.

Qualification

Graduate/Post Graduate caliber or equivalent - preferably in Chemistry/Microbiology/Bio-chemistry/Bio-technology/Food technology/DIFAT

Experience

2-5 years of experience in the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Systems on Food Processing / FMCG –Distillery, Brewery and Beverage Industry

Knowledge & skills

Hands on experience and in depth knowledge of quality management systems, developing quality related SOPs and its control; Experience in handling quality improvement projects; Knowledge of Microsoft Office package

Areas of Responsibilities

Quality Operations

• Analyze raw materials, Intermediate (Blends), EOL Finished Goods and report to the unit head on the findings
• Inspect packaging materials received at Units, Market & report to unit head
• Communicate to vendors on non-conformities and issue of CAR to vendor
• Ensure online QC such as line startup/change over from water treatment to final packing
• Coordinate with other departments for all rejection failures at unit
• Calibrate all lab equipment’s, arrive at calibration plan and manage operations as per supplier manual
• Responsible for maintenance of the equipment as per supplier recommendation
• Analyze samples received for customer/consumer complaint and provide a report on findings to the unit head
• Provide expertise of standardization of chemical reagents and calibration required for lab
• Analyze non-conformities using tools and arrive at CAPA desirable
• Assist quality manager for all quality jobs & MIS report preparation & submission to unit head
