Job summary

Asian Paints Limited in Satara, Maharashtra, invites applications for Senior Executive - Plant Engineering (Mechanical). The role focuses on maintenance of pumps, boilers, chillers, reactors and other process equipment, with emphasis on TPM, autonomous maintenance and CAPA for critical issues.

Responsibilities include plant shutdown/startup planning, spares procurement, and ensuring safety permits and LOTO compliance while managing resources for reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining pumps and process equipment in a manufacturing plant.
• Familiarity with TPM and autonomous maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of RCA/CAPA for critical equipment issues.
• Exposure to CAPEX budgeting and plant shutdowns/startups.
• Safety permit systems including LOTO and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pumps and utility equipment (boilers, chillers, compressors, WTP).
• Oversee maintenance of process equipment (mixers, reactors, agitators).
• Plan and manage plant shutdowns, startups and TPM activities.
• Procure and manage spares; ensure PM schedule compliance.
• Lead CAPA investigations (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety permits and risk-assessment procedures.

Maintenance of pump system (Centrifugal pump, progressive cavity pump, Gear pumps, Twin screw pumps, Diaphragm pumps),Maintenance of utility equipment’s (boiler, chiller, compressor, cooling towers, WTP system),Maintenance of process equipment (Mixers, Reactor, mixer, agitator and hydraulic equipment),Operations and maintenance of packing machine, TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, Responsible for CBM, RCA and CAPA for critical issues and equipment, Vendor development ,Making risk assessment, FMEA, SOP, Following safety permit system including LOTO, day to day permit work, Predictive maintenance of equipment such as vibration analysis, Thermography, Ferrography Analysis, Procurement and management of spares and consumables ,Manpower and resource management for plant shutdown and execution including startup, Compliance to the PM schedule, CAPEX project budgeting, planning and execution, Procurement of CAPEX equipment.
