RSPL Group is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive in Accounts for the Hygiene Care division. This role covers end-to-end plant accounting, financial reporting, inventory management, and cost control at the manufacturing facility.
You will drive cost variance analysis, month-end close, and collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams. Travel readiness to warehouses and depots is required; experience in SAP is preferred.

HCD is into Hygiene, Utensil and Laundry care division. It has five manufacturing units in India and two in Bangladesh & One in Ethiopia. Product segments of RSPL ltd. for international markets are taken care by HCD division.
This job role is specifically for RSPL HCD Division (Hygiene Care).

This position will be responsible for end-to-end plant accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory management, and cost control for the manufacturing facility. This role plays a vital part in tracking production efficiency, monitoring material variances, ensuring robust internal controls, and driving cross-functional alignment.
1. Cost Accounting & Variance Analysis
Monitor and analyze manufacturing overheads, material usage, labor costs, and operational efficiencies.
Perform monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods valuation.
Conduct detailed cost variance analysis (actual vs. standard costs) for raw materials, packaging materials, and conversion costs.
Support plant leadership with data-driven insights on wastage control, scrap management, and line efficiencies.
2. Inventory Management & Cycle Counts
Oversee regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts for raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods across operational units.
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, slow-moving/obsolete (SLOB) stock, and write-offs.
Ensure stock tracking systems align seamlessly with physical warehouse movements.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination & Operations
Streamline material flows, resolve invoice mismatches, and track cost drivers.
Inventory reconciliation and material availability.
4. Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
Execute month-end closing procedures, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
Prepare plant P&L statements, manufacturing cost schedules, and periodic performance dashboards for management review.
Reconcile general ledger accounts related to plant operations and fixed assets.
5. Budgeting & Cost Control
Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, compliance policies, and statutory regulations at the plant level.
Facilitate internal, statutory, and cost audits by providing required documentation and sample data.
