Lancesoft is seeking a Senior Executive Malt & Distillation (Level: LEB) for Goa Unit (Ponda). You will manage day-to-day malt and distillation operations to hit safety, quality, yield, and cost targets.

You will lead operational activities, coordinate with QA, Engineering and Finance, and drive Lean/CI initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce losses. A strong fermentation/distillation background and SAP/ERP basics are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in chemical discipline.
• 36 years of experience in Malt, Distillation, Brewery, Distillery or Alcohol Manufacturing.
• Hands-on fermentation/distillation, mass-balance understanding, SAP/ERP basics and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor malt & distillation operations from raw material handling to distillation and spirit recovery.
• Execute daily production plans and track KPIs like yield, OEE and energy/water consumption.
• Lead root-cause analysis with Quality/Lab teams for deviations and equipment issues.
• Ensure adherence to EHS standards, Excise regulations, permits and environmental compliance.
• Guide operators and cross-functional teams; coordinate with Engineering, Utilities, Stores and Finance.
• Drive Lean/CI projects, process automation and resource optimization (steam, water, power).

Job Overview

• Position: Senior Executive Malt & Distillation (Level: LEB)
• Location: Goa Unit (Ponda)
• Function: Supply Chain & Manufacturing / Operations
• Reporting To: Manager / Senior Manager (Malt & Distillation)
• Objective: Manage day-to-day malt and distillation operations to meet safety, quality, yield, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Malt & Distillation Operations: Monitor raw material handling, steeping, germination, kilning, fermentation, distillation, and spirit recovery.
• Performance & Tracking: Execute daily production plans. Track and optimize KPIs (Yield, OEE, alcohol recovery, energy/water consumption, and process losses).
• Quality & Trouble-shooting: Partner with Quality/Lab teams to maintain product standards. Lead root-cause analysis for process deviations and equipment issues.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to EHS standards, Excise regulations, statutory permits, and environmental compliance.
• Team & Cross-Functional Coordination: Guide operators and workmen. Coordinate with Engineering, Utilities, Stores, and Finance.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean/CI projects, process automation, and resource optimization (steam, water, power).

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or Distillery Technology. (Specialization in Alcohol Technology is a plus).
• Experience: 36 years in Malt, Distillation, Brewery, Distillery, or Alcohol Manufacturing.
• Must-Haves: Hands-on fermentation/distillation experience, mass-balance understanding, SAP/ERP basics, and MS Office.
