Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking a Senior Executive - Instrumentation to manage plant maintenance, instrument failures, replacements, and calibration activities across units. The role focuses on keeping PLC, HMI and SCADA systems running smoothly and in compliance with GMP and EHS standards.

The position involves coordinating with external agencies, managing CAPAs and adherence to calibration policies, while ensuring timely procurement and documentation.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of instruments, failure handling, calibration scheduling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take care of plant maintenance activities including instrument failures, replacement, maintenance of PLC / HMI / SCADA and documentation.
• Ensure maintenance, calibration schedules and related activities in the assigned blocks.
• Support external agencies related to calibration.
• Support metrological activities of stamping.
• Ensure closure of CAPAs and CCFs.
• Prepare calibration schedules and manage deviations, investigations, and closures.
• Coordinate with vendors for materials and services as per requirements.
• Ensure timely closure of all activities and purchase requisitions.
• Ensure calibration activities are completed within timelines and compliant with policy.
• Verify and measure vendor bills as per ARC/Quotation.
• Maintain critical spares for breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure instrumentation systems meet GMP, QMS, EHS, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist peers as needed and ensure engineering documents are available for breakdown activities in shift.

Job Description

To take care of Plant maintenance activities including instruments failures, replacement, maintenance of PLC / HMI / SCADA and documentation

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• 1. To take care of Plant maintenance activities including instruments failures, replacement, maintenance of PLC / HMI / SCADA and documentation in Unit 1 & 2.
• 2. To ensure maintenance, calibration schedules & related activities in the assigned blocks.
• 3. Support for the external agencies, related to the calibration agencies.
• 4. Support for metrological related activities of stamping.
• 5. Ensuring closure of CCF s & CAPA.
• 6. Preparation of the calibration schedules.
• 7. Take care of deviations, investigations & closures as per time lines.
• 8. Follow up with vendors for material and services as per job requirement.
• 9. Timely closure of all activities.
• 10. Ensure timely purchase requisitions as per supply and service requirements.
• 11. Ensure that all Calibration activities are completed within the scheduled time lines and adherent to calibration policy.
• 12. Verification and measurement certification of vendor bills as per ARC/Quotation.
• 13. Ensure Critical Spares for breakdown maintenance.
• 14. Ensure the Instrumentation systems to meet all online GMP documentation, QMS, EHS, OHC and regulatory requirements.
• 15. Support the peers for activities as and when required within the plant.
• 16. Ensure engineering documents (Electrical drawings and manuals) availability to support breakdown activities in shift.
