Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited in India is seeking an Executive – Instrumentation to manage QMS, calibration and instrumentation maintenance in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will prepare and close change controls, deviations and CAPAs, and ensure traceability in SAP.

The role requires 4–5 years of instrumentation maintenance experience, strong understanding of GMP, GDP, data integrity, and cross‑functional collaboration with QA, Production and Engineering teams. BE graduates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4–5 years of instrument maintenance and QMS documentation experience in a regulated manufacturing/pharma/chemical environment.
• Responsible for managing QMS, qualification, and calibration activities to ensure GMP & quality compliance.
• Hands-on experience in Change Controls, Deviations, Investigations, and CAPA.
• Experience in qualification of instruments and equipment, including qualification protocols and documentation.
• Experience in calibration, verification and maintenance of instruments with proper documentation.
• Experience updating instrumentation and maintenance records in SAP, with timely closure of work orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage QMS, qualification and calibration activities to ensure GMP/GDP compliance.
• Prepare, review, execute, and close Change Controls, Deviations, Investigations and CAPA.
• Ensure timely closure of Change Controls, CAPAs, Deviations and Investigations per procedures.
• Qualification of instruments and equipment and associated documentation.
• Calibration, verification and maintenance of instruments with proper records in SAP.
• Support audits and inspections with required QMS/qualification/calibration data.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Engineering, Maintenance and other cross-functional teams.

Job Description

• Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience of 4 to 5 years in Instrumentation maintenance and QMS documentation, preferably in a regulated manufacturing/pharmaceutical/chemical industry.

• Experience in timely closure of Change Controls, CAPAs, Deviations, and Investigation reports in compliance with approved procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in qualification of instruments and equipment, including preparation and execution of qualification protocols and associated documentation.
• Experience in calibration, verification and maintenance of instruments, including proper documentation and traceability.
• Experience in updating and maintaining instrumentation and maintenance records in SAP, including calibration activities and timely closure of work orders/maintenance notifications.
• Good understanding of GMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), data integrity, and QMS requirements.
• Ability to investigate instrumentation-related failures, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement/monitor appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Familiarity with controlled documentation, SOPs, logbooks, equipment history records, and audit/inspection requirements.
• Supporting audits and inspections by providing required QMS, qualification, calibration, and instrumentation documentation.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with QA, Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and other cross‑functional teams.
