Job summary

Orient Cables is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting activities, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end closing. You will support audits and ensure accuracy across financial operations in a manufacturing setup.

The role requires CA Semi-Qualified or MBA (Finance) with 5–6 years of experience, proficiency in MS Excel and SAP/Oracle/Tally, and strong analytical and coordination skills. Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CA Semi-Qualified or MBA (Finance) with relevant accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry exposure is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, GST and TDS.

Responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger entries, provisions, and accruals.
• Handle Accounts Payable and vendor reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, ageing and customer ledgers.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations and cash payments.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation accounting.
• Support month-end/year-end closing and MIS reporting.
• Assist GST/TDS reconciliations and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal/statutory auditors and provide schedules.

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, payments, fixed assets, month-end closing and audit support, ensuring accuracy and timely financial operations.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger, accounting entries, provisions and accruals.
• Handle Accounts Payable and vendor reconciliations.

• Process payments after verifying approvals, documents, GST and TDS deductions.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation accounting.
