Job summary

HDB Financial Services Ltd. is seeking an ELK-focused infrastructure engineer in Mumbai to ensure high-availability Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Grafana services. You will design Grafana dashboards, optimize data ingestion pipelines, and implement robust log rotation and archival processes.

The role requires hands-on experience with ELK stack components, Kibana, and Filebeat, plus the ability to configure alerts and monitor system health in a BFSI context. NBFC/BFSI exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have Knowledge of ELK Application Support or application development in managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise observability and log management platforms based on the Elastic Stack ecosystem like Elasticsearch, Grafana, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat etc..
• NBFC/BFSI sector experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ELK Infrastructure - Ensure Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Grafana services are up and running with high availability.
• Dashboard Preparation - Design, configure, and maintain Grafana dashboards for monitoring application logs and system metrics.
• Pipeline Management - Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot Logstash pipelines for efficient data ingestion and transformation.
• Log Rotation - Implement and monitor log rotation policies to prevent disk space issues and maintain system performance.
• Archival Process - Define and manage log archival strategies to store historical data securely and cost-effectively.
• Alerting Setup - Configure alerting mechanisms in Grafana/Elasticsearch to notify stakeholders of failures, anomalies, or threshold breaches.
• Performance Tuning - Optimize Elasticsearch queries, indices, and clusters for faster search and reduced resource consumption.
• Security & Access Control - Manage user roles, API keys, and secure access to ELK components in compliance with organizational policies.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting - Continuously monitor ELK health, identify issues, and perform root cause analysis for failures.
• Collaboration - Work closely with senior engineers , business teams and development team to implement requirements.
• Continuous Learning - Stay updated on ELK technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Should be comfortable to work on Shift based on allocation.
