Job summary

Fazlani Group of Companies in Mumbai seeks an experienced Accounts & Finance professional to join our finance team. You will handle import/export accounting, GST compliance, TDS deductions and overall financial reporting.

With 4–7 years in Accounts & Finance and proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel, you will perform ledger scrutiny, month-end closings and assist in preparing financial statements including Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce with 4–7 years accounts experience.
• Strong GST, TDS and import/export accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Handle import/export accounting and documentation.
• Manage accounting for domestic sales, purchases and expenses.
• Ensure GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations, returns and e-way bills.
• Manage TDS deductions, payments, returns and income tax compliance.
• Perform ledger scrutiny, bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations, and debtor aging.
• Assist in preparing financial statements: balance sheet, P&L and cash flow.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Handle other accounting responsibilities as assigned.

Roles and Responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle import/export accounting and documentation.
• Manage accounting for domestic sales, purchases, and expenses.
• Ensure GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations, return filing, refunds, and e-way bill generation.
• Manage TDS deductions, payments, return filing, and Income Tax compliance.
• Perform ledger scrutiny, bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations, and debtor ageing analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform any other accounting-related responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com or CA Inter preferred.
• 4-7 years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Import/Export accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.

Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
