Job summary

Societe Maison De Cuir in India seeks an experienced Finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with GST, TDS and income tax regulations. You will oversee ledger scrutiny, bank and vendor reconciliations, and support audits while delivering timely MIS reports.

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Indian taxation.
  • Hands-on experience in GST, TDS and Income Tax compliance.
  • Knowledge of Advance Tax, Tax Audit and ROC compliances.
  • Experience in preparation of Financial Statements and MIS Reports.
  • Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate Books of Accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Statements, including Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
  • Perform ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation and customer reconciliation.
  • Calculate and ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, Advance Tax and other statutory dues.
  • Prepare and file GST, TDS and Income Tax returns within prescribed timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Indian taxation laws and statutory requirements.
  • Handle ROC compliances and statutory filings.
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial analysis and management reports.
  • Support statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit and other regulatory audits.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants and other stakeholders for finance and taxation-related matters.
  • Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes, controls and reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely closure of accounting activities.
