Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd in Halol-I seeks a Sr. Executive to oversee vendor management for raw materials and packaging, ensure SAP‑based material control, and support regulatory inspections.

You will drive CAPA tracking, cGMP compliance, internal and external audits, and training programs to align site SOPs with global standards.

Qualifications

• MSc / M. Pharma degree required.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in pharma QA/regulatory/compliance.
• Experience managing vendor materials and SAP-led processes.
• Experience with regulatory inspections and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Vendor management for raw and packaging materials, SAP-based oversight.
• Management of Contract Service Providers.
• Prepare/review responses to observations; monitor CAPA timelines.
• Monitor compliance actions from regulatory inspections and audits.
• Oversee site cGMP activities and quality system compliance.
• Disseminate learnings from audits; train staff on global standards.
• Lead gap assessments and update procedures; drive department training.
• Coordinate internal and external quality audits.
• Review and support inspection management activities.
• Act as scribe during regulatory and external inspections.
• Manage inspection teams and SMEs during inspections.
• Monitor site risk assessments for ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling Overall Management of Vendors: Raw Material and Packaging Materials and Managed in SAP.
• Handling of Contract Service Provider
• Facilitate for timely preparation, review and adequate response to the Observation and monitor CAPA planner for it timely closures.
• Monitoring and tracking of various compliance actions arises due to regulatory inspections and external audits.
• Responsible for monitoring of cGMP activities at site and to have the oversight, monitoring and compliance with quality system.
• To share and implement learning from internal/external audits, guidelines, Global Standards through specific training programs to improve cGMP and incorporate them in site SOPs
• To perform gap assessment and revision of procedure as needed for Implementation of GQSs/GSOPs related to department and lead the Training function for the department
• Handling of Internal and External Quality Audit.
• Review and support for inspection management.
• Lead the role of scribe in the regulatory and External inspection
• Management of inspection team and SMEs during inspection
• Monitoring of site risk assessment periodically for compliance
