Job summary

Standard Group Of Companies in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Executive for SCM procurement to drive day-to-day sourcing for API/formulation projects. You will manage supplier identification, negotiations, and cost analysis, with hands-on SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The role requires 3–4 years of relevant experience in SS pipes, fittings, valves, HDPE, PTFE lines and vendor development to ensure timely material availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech).
• Minimum 3-4 years of procurement experience in SS pipes, fittings & valves, SS furniture, all valves, HDPE, PTFE lines for API/Formulation industries.
• Strong supplier sourcing, vendor development and commercial negotiation skills.
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes, supplier identification and cost analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of technical specifications, market rates and supplier networks.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day procurement activities for project and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Department to ensure timely material availability.
• Follow up with suppliers for quotations, delivery schedules and dispatch status.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department for supplier payment follow-ups.
• Support vendor evaluation, negotiation and new supplier development.
• Prepare weekly and monthly purchase reports and procurement status updates.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project schedules.
• Maintain procurement records and support cost-saving initiatives.
