Job summary

Dhanuka Agritech is actively seeking an EHS professional to lead environmental health and safety initiatives at the Dahej plant. The role focuses on building a strong EHS culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across processes.

You will handle statutory reporting, incident investigations, training, and ISO system updates while coordinating with operations to meet the company’s Mission & Vision.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of EHS systems and local regulations.
• Experience with plant-based Environmental Health & Safety roles.
• Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive EHS culture in plant and support managers to align with company vision.
• File monthly/annual returns and ensure routine compliance in XGN.
• Ensure half-yearly EC compliance submissions.
• Oversee operation of STP, ETP, MEE, ATFD, and related processes.
• Lead incident investigations and implement CAPAs.
• Support ISO QMS, EMS, and OHSMS updates and conduct EHS trainings.
• Monitor wastewater treatment performance and ensure statutory compliance.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. 1. Support Manager EHS, officer-EHS & Sr. officer EHS to drive the EHS culture in plant and contribute in achieving Companys Mission & Vision.
2. 2. Can file Filling Monthly Returns, Annual Returns and routine in XGN.
3. 3. Able to capable Submission of Half yearly EC compliance.
4. 4. Committed to comply with relevant Environment Legislation & Regulation.
5. 5. Expert in Operation of STP, ETP, Multi Effect Evaporator Plant, Stripper and ATFD.
6. 6. Responsible for Safety in ETP, Stripper, MEE plant.
7. 7. Required Knowledge of environmental parameters, MEE, ATFD, RO, ETP, STP, SBT, wastewater analysis & various treatment processes used in wastewater treatment.
8. 8. Required experience in Solid waste management ,Hazardous Waste Management & its Handling through XGN
9. 9. Ensure work permit compliance are follow, support engineers, and permit issue for permit compliance.
10. 10. Routine Monitoring of Waste water treatment plant performance, and take appropriate measures as and when required to comply with statutory requirements.
11. 11. Lead incident investigation and analyze incidents to arrive at the Root cause, ensure CAPA in place for each incident also evaluate the effectiveness of actions implemented.
12. 12. Support in implementation and timely updating of requirements spelled in ISO systems (QMS, EMS & OHSMS)
13. 13. Facilitate imparting EHS Scheduled trainings to employees and contractual workers.
14. 14. Participate and support officer EHS & Manager -EHS to conduct Employee safety engagement and awareness activities e.g safety week celebration, world environment etc.
