Job summary

Mu Sigma Inc. is seeking a Senior Executive – ESG to own and advance sustainability initiatives. You will lead hands-on ESG data handling, GHG accounting (Scope 1-3), and disclosures, while aligning activities with GRI reporting and EcoVadis/CDP requirements.

You will coordinate with internal teams, drive near- and long-term targets, and support supplier sustainability efforts and audits. A data-driven, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on ESG/Sustainability experience.
• Strong knowledge of GHG Protocol – Scopes 1, 2 & 3.
• Experience with GRI-based sustainability reporting.
• Hands-on with EcoVadis and CDP disclosures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage Scope 1, 2 & 3 GHG accounting aligned to GHG Protocol.
• Support GRI-aligned sustainability reporting and disclosures.
• Coordinate EcoVadis assessments with data collection and action plans.
• Assist with CDP disclosures and related ESG assessments.
• Set and monitor near-/long-term SBTi targets and progress toward net-zero.
• Collect, validate, and analyze ESG data with documentation.
• Support carbon-reduction and other sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and assurance providers.
• Track ESG KPIs and support audits and continuous improvement.
• Run org-wide campaigns to raise environmental awareness.
• Drive supplier sustainability practices and training for teams and suppliers.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Executive – ESG to support and drive Mu Sigma’s sustainability initiatives. The role will involve hands-on ownership of ESG data, GHG emissions accounting, sustainability reporting, ESG assessments, disclosures, and implementation of sustainability initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in GHG Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 accounting, GRI-based sustainability reporting, and ESG assessments such as EcoVadis and CDP. The candidate should be comfortable working with multiple internal stakeholders, analyzing data, preparing disclosures, and translating ESG requirements into actionable initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Scope 1, Scope 2 & Scope 3 GHG accounting in line with the GHG Protocol.


• Support preparation of GRI-aligned Sustainability Reports and ESG disclosures.


• Manage EcoVadis assessments including data/evidence collection and improvement action plans.


• Support CDP disclosures and other ESG/customer assessments.


• Experience in setting and implementing near-term and long-term SBTi targets, including initiatives to reduce emissions and progress toward net-zero goals.


• Collect, validate and analyze ESG data and maintain supporting documentation.


• Support carbon reduction and other sustainability initiatives.


• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and assurance providers on ESG requirements.


• Track ESG KPIs and support ESG audits, assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Conduct Org wide campaigns/ activities to create environmental consciousness.


• Drive Supplier sustainability practice, supplier assessments, conduct training sessions, capacity building sessions for internal teams & suppliers.

Must-Have

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in ESG / Sustainability.


• Strong understanding of GHG Protocol – Scope 1, 2 & 3.


• Experience in GRI-based sustainability reporting.


• Hands-on experience with EcoVadis and CDP.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)

Good to Have

• Exposure to GHG assurance, ESG ratings, carbon reduction plans and other global ESG frameworks.


• ESG/Sustainability-related certification.


• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science/Engineering, Engineering, ESG or a related field.
