Job summary

Kumaran Systems is seeking a data testing engineer in Chennai to design, implement, and maintain ETL and data validation tests. You will validate data across source, staging, and target systems using SQL and Python-based automation, ensuring data quality and seamless CI/CD integration.

The role involves collaborating with developers and data engineers to analyze defects and drive resolution, while building robust automation for efficient testing cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience in ETL/data testing and SQL.
• Hands-on Python and test automation.
• Familiarity with databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and automation frameworks.
• Understanding of data validation and data quality concepts.
