Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Selenium.
• Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Validate data movement across source systems, staging, and target databases.
• Execute Snowflake database testing, including data validation and performance checks.
• Develop SQL queries for data reconciliation and backend testing.
• Validate large datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Carry out regression, integration, system, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

The ideal candidate should have experience validating complex data pipelines, performing database and ETL testing, automating test scenarios, and ensuring data quality across enterprise data warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Selenium.
• Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Validate data movement across source systems, staging, and target databases.
• Execute Snowflake database testing, including data validation, data integrity, and performance verification.
• Develop SQL queries for data reconciliation, transformation validation, and backend testing.
• Validate large datasets and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform regression, integration, system, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to resolve defects.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python automation.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
• Solid experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse testing.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture and testing methodologies.
• Excellent SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, stored procedures, and data validation scripts.
• Experience validating data pipelines and transformation logic.
• Knowledge of REST API testing using Postman or Python libraries.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
